The scammer posted an advertisement on Instagram advertising Lucy and Yak products at a steep discount, all items listed as less than 4 dollars. As Lucy and Yak is a brand wherein clothing pieces regularly run $100 or more the offer is very inticing. The site displays the official Lucy and Yak logo and runs a count down timer implying the sale will end 30 minutes after initial visit. However, upon a simple google search one finds multiple testamonials of never recieving products.

This website is pretending to be a high-end website, called Lucy and yak a socially conscious fashion website. They pose as being a popular website and took my money as I was buying these items that I thought were Lucy and yak on sale. I know I was not the only person who lost money to this scam, but most importantly, I had my financial information taken from me and personal information.

There was an ad on Instagram for Lucy and Yak, including a dance trend that seemed pretty real/like their typical content. It was advertising a flash-sale. The website https://jocition.com took you to a website that looked exactly like Lucy and Yak’s website with all of their items.
