Looking for a house to rent on Zillow and apartment finder for my son and his wife who are moving from Tn. Sent messages through these two apps to manager on house at 14 Glenwood Dr in Chatham illinois. Got no response for several days. Finally got a number to answer. Contacted Angelica Cassidy at 518 878 6586 at apartment finders and she gave us email of Joe Foden and indicated he was owner and handled renting himself. He indicated the house was available and his work out of town prevented him from showing house. He asked that we send a rental application and could go look in the windows and around the outside of the house. I asked him several times to meet us to see the house. He indicated that he would process the application, which we did not send, get rent and a deposit, and then send keys to address on the application. I told him again that I wanted to see the house before renting it and he indicated again that he could not. I believe this is a scam. I don’t know if the Angelica person who gave us his email address is in on it or not, but her name and phone number is on a number of rental properties
