This started with a company showing up on Google maps - Joe's Commerical Heating and Cooling. After my interaction with them went poorly, I found out they are really a call center located in the Philippines posing as a local Denver office. I dug deeper. Joe's Commerical Heating and Cooling is actually just a fictitious entity that is registered with the CO Secretary of State by B.E.S.T. GDR, LLC in Illinois. Going even deeper, I found out that B.E.S.T GDR is simply one of many misleading entities created by Howard and Yosef Shmuel Bernath. You can read about these smarmy characters antics in the link below, but essentially they've created numerous fictitious entities through which they scam customers with non existent home repair calls and funnel millions of dollars. It's difficult to know whether you're working with a legitimate technical services provider or one of Yosef's shell companies, by which you will be scammed.
