The caller (from phone number 516-259-6154), who identified as John Allen, said he was from the Powerball Lottery and that they had chosen my name, phone number, and address to send a check for $35,000. I did not give out any more information and declined the offer before learning how much they needed from me. He asked if I was interested in getting the check or not, and when I said "no", he hung up immediately, no further words spoken.
