Type of a scam Romance
First gift card was for his daughter to pay for her books at a boarding school. Told her that gift card wasn't good, bought two more for the books. First was an Apple Gift Card, Visa gift cards, $300, $500, different amounts. Located out of New Zealand and was planning to come and visit the consumer. He was sending her a package of money which was apparently stuck at the border in Mexico. Taking a month vacation to the US. Had the supervisor send the money for the month vacation. Supposedly border patrol/customs w[censored]ding the package sent for $1,500 and he needed that money in Mexico. "John David Brossard" was the scammer's name, email was [email protected].
