Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I received a check for $1900 to deposit into my current checking account, to use to go and buy gift cards from the local Best Buy Store. Following the purchase, I was to fill out a survey regarding the service the store employees provided.
I was to text the survey co-ordinator, John Donald upon receiving the survey packet and again when the check had been deposited.
