He left messages on my cell, work number and relative's phone that a complaint had been filed against me. He does not say where he is calling from. I did not call him back.

Received a call at my place of employment from "John Lewis". Recorded message stating that someone has filed a complaint against me but they do not state who or what the complaint is about. The recorded message is so bad that it's difficult to even understand all that is being said. I'm not sure if calls have been made to friends or family members but I have read that others have received the same recorded call and that their family/friends were also called. I didn't call this number back because I'm not in any kind of situation that a complaint would be made against me.

Calls to threaten that a formal complaint has been filed. Says the next step is to contact authorities. Calls friends and family members as well

I ignored this number when it attempted to call me on Friday, November 10, 2017. This morning, November 15, 2017, this number has called my wife, my father, my mother-in-law, and my father-in-law. The recorded message is the same. It caller says that he is John Lewis and that he is looking for "my name" but my name is a computer recording. It says that a formal complaint has been filed and that the recipient should contact them at the number or it that the proper authorities will be notified.
