I live in the US in Michigan, but I wouldn't doubt this law office doesn't even exist. Beware!

Dear Christopher Morse,
My name is Mr. John Paul Evans and I am a lawyer with John Paul Evans and Associates, Canada. You may be surprised to receive this letter from me as there has been no correspondence between us. There is a non-enforced “unlimited life insurance policy” of our deceased customer.
The transaction relates to an unclaimed transfer-on-death (“TOD”) savings deposit of ten million seven hundred and sixty thousand US dollars ($ 10,760,000). The policyholder was one of our customers, Mr Gary Morse who worked with Energy Company here in Canada. He died eight years ago in an accident in Toronto, Canada. No one has stood up for the claim since his death, and all of our efforts to locate his relatives have been unsuccessful.
The insurance code stipulates that unused “insured long-term contracts” must be handed over to the state’s abandoned property department after 8 years. Therefore, I ask for your consent to work in partnership with me to claim this insurance benefit, noting that you have the same surname and nationality with the deceased. If you allow me to include your name on the policy, all revenue will be processed on your behalf. I want to point out that I 10% of this money will be split among charities while the remaining 90% will be split between us.
