Just wanting to notify you that there I was a victim of a paving scam the other day. Others in Austin may be at risk too. The fellow called his business Johnny's Blacktop. They have left over asphalt that they want to get rid of for free and will topcoat your driveway at their cost. Insisted and conned me into paying cash. I knew about these pavers, but was caught off guard. I asked for a business card. They said they would mail it to me. The invoice was entirely handwritten. When asked for my phone number, I didn't give them my personal number. I know there isn't any way to find them and I learned my lesson the right way. Just wanted to let your organization know, so that you are aware that they are in Austin. Thank you for your time.
