I initially received a text from someone claiming to have gotten my resume from Indeed (I had been applying to jobs on Indeed, so at first I thought it was legit). The person identified themself as Catherine Cheatham from Johnson Controls. She then asked that I download the app Telegram and reach out to someone from HR named Sadie Gautreaux. I began to speak to Sadie on Telegram when she asked for my email. She send me a supposed job description to my email. I began to get suspicious and Googled if this was a scam. I found that people have reported this is a scam and that eventually the person will send you a check and ask you to deposit it. I stopped responding and blocked the individuals. The private information they received from me is my full name, email, and town on residence (but not my full address). I have saved all the screenshots, in addition to the one attached.
