I received ads on Facebook and through in-app ads for products. I made an initial purchase from each store and my orders were received in a timely manner. When I made the second order from each store, I received text messages from one store that gave tracking information and the address information for delivery on the Shop site was different from the information I verified with the store site when I purchased the order for one of the stores. The other store didn't text or email tracking information. When I checked on the Shop website, both orders had the notification of failed delivery. Shop gave instruction to contact the store for a refund and the refund policy on one store was for return or exchange but not refund. I emailed that store and notified them that I expect a refund or reshipment in 48 hours or I would contact the BBB. Within 15 minutes, I checked the Shop site and that company has updated tracking information information about my order. I deliberately didn't tell the other company my plans to contact the ScamPulse.com to see if they would respond to my request for a refund or reshipment. This was also the store that didn't send tracking information. I believe that the stores in Shop target with ads in vulnerable extracurricular AI activities. Once they successfully complete the initial order, the customer is baited for another order and disappointed by a failed second delivery and make it almost impossible for the customer to get a refund or a second delivery attempt. This causes frustration and desperation. The customer will either end up reordering, give up and abandon the refund or go back and forth with emails with the store but in each scenario, the customer doesn't get the order or the refund. The website is not liable and the stores can retain the product and resell it over and over. They are psychologically targeting and preying on consumers and making large amounts of money doing so. The website Shop is luring in thousands of customers who have had negative shopping experiences with higher end stores and offering similar products of lesser quality and lower price to appease the customers who were scammed.
