On July 10, 2019, I noticed an iphone X listed on Mercari for $105, the ad send if interested to text 502-221-9691 - seller name listed Jordan Hicks. I texted him right away and since the price was too good, he/she wanted payment through ApplePay. I quickly setup an account, he/she sent me the payment request through another number 706-350-8683 an ipad number. I paid right away. When I asked when I would get the phone - no reply and the number just rings. I reported it to Apple Pay, they are not liable, I reported to Mercari they are not liable since the purchase was technically on the side and Chase bank. Even after a few days later, Mercari was still allowing this scammer post the phone online.

Apple Pay name linked to scam is Mykel Younkins, Chase furnished that information to me.
