I am selling a refrigerator on Cragslist contacted May 11th via text by Jordan Prescott 480.739.0840 he agreed to selling price $500 and would send check including movers fee if I agreed to pay them and I did agree.. I txt him my name and address. Heard from him on May 15th said he lost his phone and his new number is 760.624.8479 told me check is on way via USPS. May 18th check arrived USPS Priority Mail envelope return name & address Jordan Prescott 7950 N 68th St Phoenix AZ 85054 check amount $1930... His explanation was his wife is also relocating and extra was added to bill. I took the check to my bank and ask tell if it looked real she said it did, and deposited it in my account texting JP I cashed it. He text me that his movers contacted him and want to pick up this afternoon and they need their part of funds but don't want drivers to mismanage cash and ask me to purchase Walmart Gift Cards to pay them.. I text JP explaining I didn't cash but deposited it and could take two weeks to clear, he was not happy but has agreed to wait and that is my last contact with him 7:16 PM Friday May 18th.. I contacted my bank and they will remove the funds when they get the check back...
