I came in conduct with Jose Santiago on a site called Nextdoor. There was a post from a man i knew that described Jose as a "jack of all trades". There were also other people who commented on the good work Jose had done for them. Jose and Victoria Santiago (his wife) also regularly offered Jose's services when people posted that were looking for home improvement/ yard care contractors. I met with Jose, who said he is a licensed contractor, i showed him all the jobs I needed done and the following day he drew up a contract. I gave him 1/2 of the money ($1000) to purchase materials and cover labor. The whole contract was for $2000. He has had one excuse after another for not showing up and the work he has done is terrible. A woman put up a post complaining/warning about Jose being a con-man and many people responded with similar stories concerning Jose Santiago.
