I replied to a job post and was contacted saying they were impressed with my resume and would be setting me up for a remote position. Here’s the email:

“Your information has been received. However, I am sorry to inform you that we have been encountering delivery problems with courier services these past days. Would you please let me know if you are eligible for a mobile check deposit? I can have the copy of the check sent to your email for you to have it printed and proceed with the deposit.”

When I asked to discuss this they went silent and the job post was removed.
