Type of a scam Phishing
Their prompt email response was filled with the same type of red flags (e.g., misspellings, incorrect grammar, no business address, phone number or general location provided) and they requested a $300 deposit for alleged AKC registered puppies. The pictures they provided appear upon reverse Google image search to be some stock photos. We then attempted to look them up on AKC website, all to no avail.
We then asked "Joel", the alleged owner/breeder, to verify that they are in fact registered as a breeder with the AKC, and to provide their location. Additionally, we asked to arrange a Zoom call to view the puppies and meet them, we requested 3 references and to also pick up the dogs ourselves. These requests went entirely unanswered and then, radio silence.
Joel refused to answer the phone with no outgoing message capability hence, no way to leave a voicemail; the phone just kept ringing unanswered. This website advertises purebred Pekingese puppies for sale at $600 each; "a 25% discount this season."
EVERYTHING about this website and all of the various company names they use screams fraud and scam. They attempt to confuse the reader as if Joel and his associates are a family of foreigners who love Pekingese and are hobby breeders. They attempt to make the viewer believe that they are possibly Scandinavian (e.g. opening message reads as "Hei" instead of Hello) and barely speak or write proper English. Furthermore, they have no verifiable company name, place of business, phone number or email address nor do they have references that can readily be verified as legitimate and in good standing. Lastly, their fake references, or what they refer to as "Testimonies" (instead of Testimonials) seem to all be unverifiable and fake (e.g., famous people that live in the states they referenced that do NOT own Pekingese).
There is another Scam ID 655212 with the Better Business Bureau reported on or about 12/5/22 in connection with this SAME "company" using a variation of the same email address ([email protected]).
BOTTOMLINE: PLEASE INVESTIGATE AND SHUT DOWN THIS FAKE COMPANY AND THESE SCAMMERS ASAP...BUYER BEWARE!!!!
