A fellow named Juliano went door-to-door in our neighborhood offering driveway sealing. We agreed to hire him to do the job. The job was halfway done, but I had to leave for an appointment. I approved of the work he had done, so I gave him a check and left. As soon as I left, he told my wife he was going to return the next day to finish the second coat. He left and cashed the check right away.

He never returned and has turned off his phone and is not answering emails.
