Type of a scam Online Purchase
I ordered four items from JudeLook. Three of the tops were too small even though one of them was a size larger than I usually wear. I emailed them through their website to see how I could return the items. The website even says that you can get fast, free returns within 15 days!
1st email - They wanted to know why I wanted to return the items. I said because they were too small.
2nd email - They said that I needed to send them pictures of the items I wanted to return and describe in detail how they didn't fit.They offered me the option to keep the items and get a partial refund.
3rd email - They wanted to know which item I wanted to return and then they could apply a partial refund. I gave them all of the details from the sheet that was included in the package. The total amount of the refund due was $83.47. I told JudeLook that I'd accept $42, which is about half of the full refund due.
4th email - They offered me a $12 refund. I refused the offer because it was too low and asked again for the refund instructions.
5th email - They offered me an $18 refund. Again I refused the offer because it was too low. I reminded them of the deadline on their website which says that they will not accept return more than one week after them items were recieved by me. I told them that I didn't appreciate their poor and deceptive business practices.I let them know t hat I knew my legal rights. I also said that I had kept this string of emails and said that I would post all of this information on Facebook (where I had found them) the next day and give them a bad review.
6th email - They offered me $28. Again I refused the offer because it was too low. I said I'd accept $35 which is halfway between $28 and $42.
7th email - They agreed that they would refund me $35 and I could keep the items.
Four days later I received their refund of $35.
Lesson Learned - I will NEVER buy from JudeLook again and have told my friends what a terrible company they are!
