Via texting, this business answered a legal question. They explicitly stated it would be a $5 charge. I was then charged an additional $29 as a monthly membership fee.

I logged into Microsoft to change my debit card information to pay my bill. I was directed to a chat area in Microsoft to tell them my reason for contacting them. I told them what I wanted to do and they told me that they were going to take me to a secure screen to input the information. I entered my new account number on what I was told a secure screen along with some other information like my email address. After I was finished I was taken to another screen which appeared to be back to the chat section. It asked me if I had any more questions and I said No, and thanked them for taking my info. after that I got a mess from my bank saying that I was below my balance in my checking account. I knew I hadn't written any check or used my debit card so I checked my account and saw a charge for 55.00 and 1.00 from a company called Just Ask. So there was a number on the entry so I called them and asked them why they had taken my money, they told me because I had asked them a question and I of course denied that. They told me that if I denied it they could give me the money back in 5-10 days. I asked them who gave them permission to use my debit card number and make the charge and he never answered the question but told me that they would reverse the charge. I immediately called Wells Fargo and told them what had happened and they put in a claim. I wanted everyone to know that this to me was a scam, if I hadn't given them permission to take my money they were stealing. and if I wasn't the kind of person to check my account they could have done it over and over again So my complaint is with Microsoft and with Just Ask. If you need to go on Microsoft you better make sure you are still on their website because it seemed that the other company got on it to take their customers' money and information. I was charged $1.00 for membership and $55.00 for a question that I never asked. BEWARE Now I have to contact Microsoft again and change my card number again. Not Cool!!

I was attempting to use ScamPulse.com to report a Illegal Charge, and this Just Ask Attorney Service came up, said I could ask a Question for just $1.00 gave my Credit Card # found when I received my Bank Statement they had charged $1.00, and then $60.00. this was never an agreement, nor purchase. I believe I was ripped off!

Was referred to website by Xfinity help. Offered trial for $1, I fell for it, got no results on my problem, refused to continue to subscription but found a $46 charge on my credit card.

When I saw the charge on my credit card, I contacted the card issuer. They recommended that I let it clear and then dispute the charge.

At this date it is pending. I paid the entire credit card balance, however.
