I was on my computer. I clicked on a news website to get information, and the computer started chiming and alarms going off. The screen had a 1-800 number for help to get rid of a virus. The scammer on the phone wanted $199-$500 for virus protection services. I told them you didn't have any money. They said I owed $30 for the help right then and they would call me back on July 15th to collect. I gave the computer away and got a new credit card.
