In desperate search for an item on my local stores website, a “sponsored” ad appeared and unfortunately I fell for it. I’m usually very careful. I had done a quick search to check up on the company but nothing stood out. After the transaction I felt uneasy and dig further. It was then that I saw many complaints about not receiving items or getting damaged goods and no refunds. There’s no telephone number to the company. And the email address doesn’t match company name. I used PayPal and the receipt only had Chinese symbols for the company name with yet a third nonsense email address. I tried to cancel PayPal but it quickly wet to a completed status so I couldn’t. I sent an email to the company but no response
