I went online to find the support number for Arlo Cameras and came upon this website. I thought this was the actual site for customer support. I explained to a woman going by the name Nora Smith that we hadn't been long purchased the arlo cameras and one of them would not charge, it stopped working. She informed me that it was because I was on the trial and needed to purchase a plan. She said eventually all of the cameras would stop working. She often 3 plan types a 3 year, 5 year and a lifetime. I chose the lifetime for $269.99. She sent me a text for a stripe payment and I put my bank card info on it. She told me that it went through. Next she transferred me over to the so called technician to walk me through fixing my camera. He had me try several things and later said that there must be a hardware issue with that security camera and said that I would have to order a new one. He transferred me back to Nora and she also explained to me to contact the company that I purchased the cameras through and see if my one year warranty will replace it for free. Which I did. It was purchased through HSN. So the warranty will allow me a new camera at least. But I found out the orginal company I called where not a part of Arlo Security Cameras. So I called my bank to dispute the charge and cancel my debit card.
