My daughter was hired by the business for an out of state, work from home graphic design job. He mailed her a $*** check to be deposited in my bank acct. She was to send a photo of the dep. recpt. I got suspicious and had the banker at Chase do some investigation, the check was fraudulent. The employer stated that after she deposited the check she would be instructed where to go to order/pay for the computer and art programs. The banker stated that the two are most likely working together as the check would "bounce" and they would have the money. She would be held responsible for the $***.
