Total money lost $100,000
Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes
Was told to contact KATIE S. RUSSELL, the main coordinator.
I did this immediately. Was told I was the winner of 400,000. First, I must send 20,000 to their rep, Walter Gallup, for processing. I did this.
I called to ask if she had done this. She agreed she had.
Was told my funds were being sent by courier to my address. Was even given a tracking number.
However, the "courier" was supposedly stopped enroute because of taxes due. Once again ii paid this.
Set for delivery again and another monetary problem. Sen5 mote money.
Finally a check was to be delivered to my home address. At the last minute was told instead of a check, I would receive a wire transfer.
Katie S. Russell then provided me with the Bank of America account number and password.i could transfer the money myself.
Was unable to so. Was then told it was on hold because of money laundering regulations.i needed to pay 57,000 to release the money.
I now realized I had been scammed to the tune of about 100,000.
Money was sent to Angela Williams, in San Francisco and Keith Kerr,of Medford, N.Y.
I can provide bank account and routing numbers for all involved.
I am an 80 year widow. I have nothing left.
Thank you.
