the scammer called my daughter and told her that they had been trying to serve a summons for me to appear in court and was unable to contact me. they wanted to know if she was the power attorney for me and that she could handle this . she is not power of attorney so she took there info. and called me. i called them and they had my phone number social security number date of birth my address and my last address. they told me it was concerning a car that was repossessed in 2004. they told me the make and model and year of the car. they told me it was repossessed and sold at auction and the remining balance was 12000.$ they said that the bank that the car loan was through made an offer of 2003.06$ to settle the account, but since i never paid that a summons was issued for me to appear in court.. but i could pay the 2003.06 and not have to go to court.
