Scam!!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a Golden Retriever puppy and found this site to buy from on September 12th, 2022. The emails had all the right information but when it came time to purchase they had many sites that they were trying to get us to use to purchase like Zelle, Apple Pay, cash app, Venmo, and PayPal. All had different names connected to them. We called the first number that was connected to the $600 Apple Pay payment and they stated their buddy emailed them to request the money and send it to them. The images sent to us through the email were also dated in 2020 which we didn’t notice until it was too late. We got as far as hearing from the “seller” that the puppy was at the airport getting ready to ship out to us and then got more info that we needed to pay more money to have the puppy insured for the flight, needed the right climate crate, and another fee. It was stated that once the puppy was landed the money except for the rental crate charge would be 100% refunded. When they kept asking for more money we finally caught on which we should’ve caught on sooner but all we thought about was the love this puppy would get with us. This scammer(s) was really in depth and knew all the right words to say. Please shut this website down. I would hate to see others go through what we just did!
