Type of a scam Online Purchase
First the company sends you to website to watch a free training video. After the first training video you are asked to follow along with video and generate a quote from their web based“configurator”. Once you complete that task the company emails you free ads to post on Facebook, Craigslist, etc
Potential buyers contact you, after using their configurator to generate the quote somebody from their sales team obviously takes over the lead because you hear nothing from American steel builders or your lead again. Next email sent to you is about Facebook ads. American steel builders wants you to pay $99 and up for (x) amount of Facebook ads within so many days.
Next email is offering a personalized website and advertising materials for $39 a month or $199 for the year.
After paying for the website
I did not receive marketing materials nor any website. After I sent 5 emails inquiring about my website,
I received 1 email in return saying it was being worked on.
More than a week later and 3 more emails to the company with no response and still no website.
It appears they are using other people to advertise for free for them and than scamming people out of “startup and hosting fees” also trying to scam people to pay for facebook ads
