I placed a ad on Nextdoor for needing lawn mowing. K C responded and came over to give me estimate. She first wanted $1200 but I told her that was way too much. She they said if I paid cash she would accept $1000. I said that still was too much. She then dropped it down to $800. I said I didn’t have that much so she said she would take $400 now and $400 later on. I stupidly gave her a check. She gave me a receipt which was written wrong. I told her the receipt was wrong and she wrote me another receipt. She left my house and the bank notified me that $400 was withdrawn from my account about a hour later. She has made me 2 appointments to come over to do the work but never showed up or called. I called her and she made another date to come over. No show each time. I found out that she has been arrested more than once and she has scammed others also.
