Kelly Evans and Laura Medina, ReMax agents from Palos Verdes, are the most abusive, belligerent, condescending, nasty, dishonest individuals we have ever met in the real estate industry and in life. They moved their mother into a home for Alzheimer’s then pretended to get her house in order to make a quick buck off of renting it. They scammed us into renting a property that was not ready to be rented. They misrepresented the condition of the property. Instead of being in excellent condition, it was uninhabitable. The heat was broken, the thermostats weren’t working, the drains and plumbing weren’t working, the showers were leaking water, the bathroom toilet was leaking sewage, there was water damage and mold everywhere. One of the bathrooms didn’t even have a door because they were too cheap to hire someone to put it back on. The carbon monoxide detectors were sounding so loudly because the batteries were never changed that it almost made all of us deaf. The sewage seeped all over from the toilet that it was equivalent to living with an open septic tank. Kelly Evans and Laura Medina pretended to have a property up to code and upon moving into the property, we realized it was not even close to being live-able. We then emailed, texted and tried to contact them to fix all the problems. We were met with hostility and anger. Laura Medina asked us why we were interrupting HER Christmas while our kitchen sink was overflowing and the toilet was leaking sewage. Instead of making repairs, she went on vacation sipping tropical drinks. For the next 5 months both Laura Medina and Kelly Evans bullied us and abused us. They refused to fix the major problems and forced my family to live with faulty plumbing, mold and sewage. I would tell everyone out there to stay about from these two. They are saggy silicon bags who bark and bark and bark. They are dishonest and heartless. Their abuse has left lasting emotional scars on my family so much so that we have filed complaints with the California Bureau of Real Estate to have their licenses revoked.
