I currently started selling beauty products and this individual reached out to me, by text message, wanting to buy products for her "daughter getting married as a wedding gift." Sounded normal to me, and my contact information is online for new customers so I didn't think much about it. The scammer sent me a money order check for the products, but it was MUCH more than the product itself, and scammer asked me to send the rest of the money to "the wedding planner" as there was a mix-up with her HR where the money was supposed to go. I ended up putting the check into my bank account and soon after realized it was a scam. I did NOT send out any products or money. Now the scammer is messing around in my bank account, moving money around. I have been in contact with my bank to resolve this issue.
