Warehouse Pick and Pack Worker – Charlotte, NC
Kelly Services is currently recruiting for Warehouse Pick – Pack Workers. The opportunity is for our client, John Deere, at its location in Charlotte, NC. This assignment tentatively starts ASAP and pays $12.76/hour. JOB DESCRIPTION
Works individually or as part of a team to perform order fulfillment task according to specifications. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Handling lawn mower blades, lawnmower air filters and a few other lawn mower attachment accessories.
• Taking raw materials, packaging them into re-sellable products for the customers.
• Repetitive movements and duties. Will be cross-trained in multiple areas of the department so it is slightly less repetitive.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is required in this fast-paced warehouse environment. QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma/equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Need to be able to lift up to 40lbs repeatedly, and stand/walk/stoop/bend for an 8+ hour work day.
• Experience with these type of duties would be beneficial, but not required. TERM OF ASSIGNMENT
• Monday-Friday. Hours usually 8:00am-5:00pm, but OT may be required occasionally to come in early or stay late.
• Opportunity to volunteer for OT on Saturday - very rarely is it mandatory.
• Steel-Toed Work Shoes with Metatarsals are required for first day, but this facility will provide them to workers if needed.
• Will be doing a 2-day trial of new contingents to verify that they can meet the lifting requirements.
• This assignment will be starting ASAP and go through October, 2019 with strong possibility of long-term extensions, based on the performance of the candidate and the customer’s needs.
