Responded to HIRING! HIRING! Kelly Services I’m n Facebook for Customer Service or Data Entry work from home 8am-3pm at $25/hr.
Contacted via Facebook messenger and they requested I download a Telegram app to proceed.
I since have googled offer and was informed it is a SCAM.

Kelly Services is a “work from home” based job that sounds legit, you are linked with someone off Facebook and then told to download the messaging app called, “Telegram”. From there you have an interview for the job you are seeking. Once the interview is completed you then are told that they are going to email you via pdf your sign up bonus and money for the materials you need to work from home.

They sent me the first check for $1250. It went through my account and then they proceeded to walk me through the steps to send the $1100 through bitcoin on cashapp. (That’s when it started to sound bad, but it wasn’t my money they were using so I was fine with it.) everything processed through cashapp bitcoin and they received a confirmation.

The next day, they sent me another check through email by pdf file. I told them that I was not around a computer and that I wouldn’t be all day.

That’s when the bad mouthing starting in their end about how “I better do this”.

The next day I ended the job with the explanation that I don’t appreciate how they are talking to me.

I signed no contracts, I gave them my email, full name, driver license number and my address and that was it.

The company proceeds to tell me that they need all $1250 of their money back or they are going to contact the FBI.

I asked for the head of department number, and received nothing.

The company ended up stealing it out of my account.

I had to email my resume, than I was contacted to install a signal app that I would be contacted with a hiring manager which I was contact by a Amy Naumann she told me she was the head of people and culture at Kelly services. She told me I had the job as a data entry operator and that they would be sending my equipment with Kelly services logo, etc

Now she’s saying I have to open and checking/savings thru citi bank or a betterment account so they can send the funds to pay the vendors once my equipment is deliveried

Have you heard anything back from her? Has the company ever sent you any money? I'm dealing with the same person going on 4 weeks and it's always one thing after another! I'm so mad at this point because she has my personal information to several accounts I have and has also changed information to some of my accounts!

I was referred to somebody on Facebook they set me up with the telegram app I had an interview they told me I got the job I was sending them personal information and then I got to thinking this isn't right.

I was contacted on Facebook by a profile individual called India Bonner who claimed she’s been recruiting for Kelly Services for over a year. She then told me to download the Telegram APP in order to schedule for an interview with the hiring representative.

I have been in communication with Heidi Lynn Hall on Telegram, who claim she’s a 63 year old woman and the HR for the firm KELLY STAFFING SERVICES COMPANY

The questions she’s asked cause suspicious. She quickly said I was qualified for the job in less than an hour chatting. I’ve been asking to schedule a video or physical phone call to learn about the company, but nothing. They were able to acquired a copy of my license, full name, phone number, address, I worry they are scammer who may use that info to steal my identity.

They ask weird and unusual questions such as bank account passport, how many credit card you have, asking how much credit card debt, ask to purchase some sort of card in order to open an online profile account. They promise free computer to be sent to your hours.? Many more RED FLAGs.

Please stop these scammer from hurting people through fake job promises

I initially DMed "James Burton" on Facebook who directed me to text (234) 980-3347 to express interest in working from home as advertised. "John Emerson Quintanilla" responded via text from that number instructing me to click on a link that he emailed me. That brought me to what appeared to be the real Kelly Staffing Services website. I then began to receive emails from "the company" explaining what would be expected of me and requesting personal information including my social security number which was given after some initial protest and subsequently some "assurance" that this is a legitimate company and a genuine job offer. Once they explained that they expected me to purchase "equipment" needed to do the job with funds that they supposedly provide but, using my own personal bank account, I no longer trusted them and began to look them up. Natasha Ellis says she is with Kelly Staffing Services Company using ID FDGH4-794CE. She got all my personal information DL & SS had me do verify my identify thru ID.me. I realize it was a scam when she started asking me for my username and password to my cash app account. She states wanted to send me $16,000 for equipment to do my job. When i ask for a phone number to call to verify if this conversation was legit, she started to get rude and to trust they were legit company. I have screen shots of our conversation.

I got a Facebook from Angela Cook saying that she had a work from home job I could apply for, she told me to message someone on the Whatsapp to the number 7402913785. When I messaged them in the Whatsapp, she started asking me interview type questions and I thought it was normal due to Covid. She then asked for my bank account username and password, to make sure the check she sent me went through. I was supposed to get a $1200 check deposited and then send the money via CashApp to a vendor for equipment I needed for the job. After I told them my bank info, I told them to cancel it and I didn't want to do this anymore. Then she said that to cancel the check I needed to go the the store and buy an Ebay gift card and send her the info on it to cancel the check.

Dear Sir , Madam

On July 31 st ,2019 , i received an email from kelly services agent ( Maha) says i have an phone interview about computer Technical support that i have applied , so replied and i did the phone interview with “Maha” and every went well , then

She said she will introduced me to IBM as candidate,

On August 08 , i received An email from “Maha” said this role has been filled from IBM , and there is another role from IBM ( temporary ) needs to install computers before the election and take care for the computers after the election ,

I said “ i am ok with that “ she called me again them she said will send me documents to sign also there is another interview with kelly manger after i complete the documents,

She sent me alot of documents ( kelly contact , agreement, tax form , training documents, bank cheque, ...etc )

Also quizzes to finish , so i finished all these ( about 4 hours ) then another interview with kelly manger tgrough the sky to verify 2 IDS ( driving license , SIN ) so every done them she said soboday will contact you end of Augest or begging of September, to tell how can i start and give me the instructions,

On September 4 th, i received an email from “Emilie” said “ Dear i mac tech “ if you interested in work westlock AB, oe Hinton AB , contact me “

I sent an email to Emilie about the work in calgary as “ maha “ mentioned to me in the interview, she replied “ I h do not have anything for calgary right now but i will let you if something comes up ,

Then about 2 weeks later sent an email to Emilie to follow up about work in calgary , she said “ Karen will contact you when we have work there “

No body contacted me till today , i sent an email to “ maha” said that no body contacted me as you mention that the is a work in calgary , is anything coming soon? I didn't get any responded from her or any one from kelly services

,

So all my information with them( Driving license, SIN no., my signature, ...)

On top of the That waste time with quizzes , and completed the alot of documents, for nothing ,

Also i am worry now if there are scams ,

Could you please help and advice me what to do with them ?
