I belong to a facebook group centered around horses, mules and tack. I was asking about a hitch that one person had for sale and this Kelly Xates commented on the thread that she had one if the original poster had sold his. I paid $150 through Facebook Messenger. A couple hours later additional posters were reporting they had also been scammed by her.

All communication with her on the thread, and in facebook messenger,including photos she had sent to me as proof she had the item, were removed and "message unavailable" notices replaced her comments. The charge on my debit card also has the name Kelly Xates (FBPAY *Kelly Xate pay.fb.com CA 241863000018091). The previous is the information on my bank transaction.

There was no phone number or email used in this transaction. I can't submit this form without one so I put my email and phone in the above fields.
