I to received a USPS Priority Mail 2-Day delivery. It was from a person who I didn't know:

Inside was a letter & check for $2450.00 with instructions on doing my survey.
I had heard about these so i researched and found it to be a SCAM!

I could have used the money but chose not to.

Please beware of "easy money" when you receive it.

My mother who is disabled received a check for 2450.00. For secret shopping. I researched this & it turns out to be a scam. Shame on you people! My mother is ill & would have went threw with it. It would have messed up her social security & disability! Kelton is Fraudulent! Beware!

It is sad that I recognized this as a SCAM. (isn't there enough craziness in the world? Covid -19) I received a "secret shopper" letter, included with the letter was a check for the amount of $2,570.00. The check was issued from Azusa Unified of Los Angles County. I was instructed to purchase a $500.00 Pre-Pay Visa Gift Card, making certain to have the Card Activated, then to photograph (front & back) of the card and finally sending my evaluation of the service and the photos to "the special" message (only) number. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!
In addition to reporting this SCAM here, I reported the fraud to the US Postmaster and all Federal Agencies investigating and prosecuting these SCAMMERS!

I received a check today for $2,570.00. I was instructed to deposit it and then go buy gift cards from Walmart and CVS.
I just felt like free money is bad money, so I googled kelton. That's how I ended up here. Be careful fam!

Anonymous, I just got scammed twice fake check and get American Express Gift card Vanilla Master Gift cards. Deposit 2,000 into bank. Then when it clears proceed the stores WAL-MART CVS PHARMARCY around your area $70 transport and miscellaneous during assignment. Oct 19, 2020 2 fake checks from Branch Banking And Trust Company.GuideLines For What you look at for at Both Stores. Should I mailed back Timothy Castagne.

WAS SENT A CHECK TO DEPOSIT, THEN PERFORM A TASK OF BUYING GIFT CARDS SO EMPLOYERS CAN SEE HOW THERE EMPLOYEES HANDLE THE CARDS TRANASCTION, GOOD THING I DIDNT CASH IT!

I deposited this check I got from kelton research survey for 2475.00 and there is a hold on my account and I get social security and 263.17 was taken from my social security but the funds are not available from that check so don't know what to do what did you do and can you please give me the information on what to do

I received a check in the mail via Priority Mail today for 2,950.00 dollars with a letter saying Congratulations I have been pre-qualified to take part in the Kelton Research Shopper program. That I will be evaluating any one of these stores, Walmart, Cvs pharmacy and Walgreens around my area. The letter then states that the check is ready for me to deposit into my account via mobile deposit or ATM deposit machine. Then it goes on to say, Once the money is available to then go to any of the stores around me and proceed with my evaluation. and to keep 450.00 dollars for my participation. That I'm to buy gift cards at 500 each take pictures of the cards and send the pictures to some email address.

I was sent a letter with a $2575 dollar chck inside to cash and keep 500 for myself for the work and 75 for my gas and driving to walmart,target etc. The $2000 was to buy gift cards and to call a number or email them and do what they asked so they can get their money. I received a text message asking if I was interested in Wal Mart Shopping Survey and earn $400 plus $64 of Walmart stock items. I was suspicious but went to http://bit.ly/2xjp6Vc. That was on June 17th. I didn’t hear anything until today July 13th when I received a Priority Mail package with a check for $2464. I was instructed to deposit check and then purchase gift cards as outlined in attached letter.

received check of $2575.00 to evaluate walmart or cvs have to purchase steam gift card or a razor gift card( i have never heard of either of these cards) take pictures of front and back of 4 $500 cards and the receipts. did not do . beginning of letter stated they have received several anonymous reports of staff misconduct etc. never mentioned they were contacted by the 2 stores mentioned.
