Hi. I also have been looking for a basset hound and came across Kelvin basset hound website. They have a puppy they call Louise, blue-eyed standing in front of a dog bowl with the name Hugo on it. I called the contact number to question about the puppy. I have previously seen this dog on someone's personal instagram page. When I questioned the person regarding this, they instantly hung up on me. Definately a scam.

Me and my family bought a basset hound puppy for 850$ in September to find out it’s a scam we never got the dog. They say you need to pay $1,400 for shipping don’t! No one is shipping dogs because of Covid these people are running a huge scam multiple phone numbers and multiple emails different people with different names.i recently seen They have change the website kelvinfamilybassethound.com it’s the same old website just different name I filed a fbi Report and They didn’t did anything I filed a police report nothing this is very sad that these people are getting away with stealing people money. One More thing I got the phone number of Daniela she’s the one who received the Zelle for 850$ here’s her number 214-783-7364 she will text with you and play games saying I returned your money it’s all lie one big scam and no one is doing anything to fix it and no one cares...

They scammed me as jamesbassethound.com same basset site different name they operate out of France. They were using Maryland phone numbers when they scammed me. The FBI shut the site down after I reported it, but haven't done anything with the Kelvin basset site. I'm not sure why? I filed a complaint with complaint.IC3.gov. Good Luck! The name I got was James/Be'John Baker 17601 Eagle Harbour Rd. Aquasco, MD 20608 it's b's of course.

We are looking to replace a basset my dad recently lost. My wife contacted "Kelvin" and worked out all the logistics to get paid and shipping info. Before she paid I asked my daughter to reverse lookup the puppy image and it was TWO YEARS OLD! It went downhill from there when I contacted the "breeder" with this info and all the scam info I found at this site. He then stated that was not his site but his site was instead kelvinfamilybassethound.com. I tired to access that site and low and behold our software blocked the site due to PHISHING! Never underestimate the power of someone who works in IT.

I decided to do some reviews research as the price is too enticing. I found no reviews, but a scam report. Most pictures of the pup have a different name associated with it (dog tag, decoration, etc). I eventually found the pup on IG under this different name, who is now a fully grown male pup living in another country.

I found the website kelvinbassethound.com on an online search for basset hound puppies to purchase. The website asked that I fill out an interest form for a specific dog, which I did. I was emailed back with information about the dog and a picture with some questions about my home life and personal information, which I also sent back. I then got an email back telling me that they would like to place the dog in my home and the information I would need to finalize the purchase. I was told the dog was $850 and would be flown here from Maryland, payment could be made through Zelle or Apple Pay. When I sent the money, I was given a tracking number and information about how I would receive my dog. I then got another email from a cargo company telling me that in order to get my dog, I would also need to either Zelle or Apple Pay an additional $1400 for travel insurance and a specialized travel crate for the dog. When I questioned the breeder about this, I was told that the payment was 100% refundable upon receipt of the dog. Upon doing more research, I told the company that I would not pay the money and realized I had been scammed. Once I started questioning them about that, I was cut off and didn't receive any sort of response back. The name of the "breeder" and the name of the website for shipping are listed below.

This website is a scam. They refused to send me pics of the puppy’s parents nor exactly where they were located. Pressured me to set up my cash app account and kept asking for personal details like home address, etc. When you look up the name it is a person in Nigeria. No thank you! Consider yourself warned!
