Advertised home for rent. I asked to view property, he said we could do it without him, gave us code for lockbox. Of course upon arrival, code didnt work (he said it sometimes times out). Has me register for rently.com (which requires $1 registration fee)so I can gain entry to home. In the meantime continues to mention security deposit and how quickly can I send payment. Once I access property he asks for picture proving access, then tells us not to lock key back up. We immediately locked key up, and left the property. I called realtor listed on property lawn sign to inquire about property, etc. and to advise him of scammer. This person is still contacting me trying to move forward with scam!!
