Real company bad people

Unfortunately the company's real but I would never use them for a transport or anything else the man that owns it is a very abusive man beats his wife and beats his children because he thinks he can because he makes good money [censored]ing people over

I followed up on an ad for a Food Truck, brand new, fully equipped for $25,000. When inquiring location, the scammer followed up with photos and the following information.

SCAM EMAIL SENT: Thanks for the reply. At this moment I am near Kent, WA in a military base, waiting to be deployed overseas. This is the reason why I left the truck stored with all the paperwork at the shipping company named Kent Delta Auto (https://kent-delta-auto.com/) in SEATTLE, WA ready to be delivered. I signed a contract with them to take care of this sale on my behalf because I don't have time to sell it in person.

The truck is in their custody, ready for shipping and they will take care of everything. The deal includes free delivery and it will arrive at your address in 5-7 days, depending on the exact location. I want to use their escrow and transport services as they offer 100% protection and insurance to both buyers and sellers. Payment must be sent to an escrow account created in your name and they will offer you a 5 days inspection period from the day the vehicle arrives to your location.

So, this is not a blind transaction, you can physically see the truck before committing to buy and to eliminate any concerns. In case you won't be satisfied, you can cancel the transaction and ship it back at my expense. If you are interested, please include in the next email your contact information (Full name, shipping address and phone number), so we can get the ball rolling

When searching WHOIS for the website of the delivering company it should the site was just created two weeks ago. When visiting the website, the home page featured misspelled words which was yet another sign that this was an elaborate scam. When searching for the Food Truck listed, online I found the exact same photos used in the scam at a so called dealer with the same scam going so this must be happening several places.

I also almost fell for this, and was about to wire $25,000 for an amazing deal on a used truck with a brand new kitchen, advertised by Elizabeth Peterson. Kent Delta Auto was created by someone who knows his or her stuff, making the website look legit, but it is an elaborate scam to get people to wire them money under the guise of a safe escrow account, for something that doesn't exist, masquerading as a third party handler for transactions and shipping. There is a Delta Auto in Kent, WA that ships vehicles, so when you google it you see tons of listings, thinking they're the same but they are not.
