This company first called my wife, giving her a bogus complaint number and told her there was a civil complaint on me from a steakhouse I used to work at in New Jersey, but the steakhouse they mentioned, Okeechobee steakhouse, is in West Palm Beach, Florida. She called me and gave me their phone number. I called and the woman that picked up said “corporate” and asked for my complaint number. I gave it to her and she said she had to transfer me to “mr.rivera”. So she transferred me and a man picked up and said “hello, mr. Benjamin?” I said “did you just call me mr. Benjamin?” And he said yes, I told him I have no idea who that is. And than he proceded to tell me that he was in fact mr. Michael Benjamin. He was telling me he was calling to collect a debt for “trustee services LLC” and asked me if I knew what that is. He said I owed them $2000 but would settle for $1000 right now over the phone. I said your gonna have to send me a certified letter stating what I owe and to whom, he said they have already sent one out, that he refused to send another one and i should have payed my bills. I was just curious as to how far he would take this scam, so I said o no I’m sorry how can I pay? He said PayPal, iTunes gift card, green dot money card. I said “Can I pay with my scam artist express card?” And he went berserk, he told me he was gonna get me, I’m not sure if that is a threat or what but he kept yelling, telling me I was a [censored] because I didn’t pay my bills etc. it was quite amusing. Just wanted to let you guys knows, I don’t this is even a legit company.
