Type of a scam Employment
They will send you a check with money to be used on equipment for the job. But instead of sending you a list of equipment to buy they will send you a zelle transfer account to a “vendor” who will supposedly provide the equipment.
The check will initially go through and you will assume you have the money in your account. You spend the money and then all of a sudden the check has been redacted but YOU are the one held liable for the missing funds since you made the zelle transfer to a different account already.
