Friendly guy in parking lot with a pick up truck full of equipment said he could fix the dents in my car while I shopped or watched him work. Quoted a really high price at first and then dropped it by half

I was notified through text message from the number I provided that I was selected to turn my car into a billboard for a popular energy drink. I was mailed a check for $3550. When the check cleared I was told to purchase three money orders totaling $2900 and to use the remainder of the money to pay me for the first week of employment as well as the shipping for FedEx overnight priority for the money orders. I have the mailing address for the money orders and the receipt with the tracking number. Whoever received this parcel from FedEx is in on this money wiring scam and FedEx should be made to supply any video footage of the person who received the parcel. The Fed ex tracking number 390041137808. The name on the parcel is Gary Bean

This person called and directed me to go to amazondatajobs.org because I had supposedly show interest in doing a data entry job from my home. The website has you enter your phone, email, and name to "see if you qualify" even though that's all they ask for. I'm assuming after you "qualify" they send you an email asking you for your personal information like address. You have to pay for a package to get started and I'm assuming that's how they make there money. I didn't give them any information and it's a pretty obvious scam from the webpage.

"Kevin" calling from a loud call center, presumably in India by his accent, offered me $9200 from the Federal Government. He says the Government draws names of people who pay their bills on time, pay their taxes, don't give the government any trouble, and are good citizens. He was calling from Washington (state). Do I want the $9200? After I asked what program this was from, he said the ARRA American Recovery and Reinvestment Act under Obama. Do I want the $9200? I asked for more information - he asked for my email. I refused. I asked him to tell me a website - he said -- obviously I will not be going to that "website". I said surely it was a scam - he said no, he was telling the truth! I said no thanks and hung up.
