One Tuesday July 16, 2024 I called KeyMe Locksmith looking for someone to fix my car key. The key I had would not let me lock or unlock my vehicle using the key fob. Upon the locksmith’s arrival, he asked for the key and took it to the trunk of his car. When he returned the key to me he told me it it was fixed. Normally they would hook up a machine to the vehicle to fix the issue. Yet the key unlocked and locked so I gave him the $160 using Zelle. By Thursday July 18th,2024 the key had stopped working. I called and made and appointment to speak to a manager the following day Friday July 19, 2024 at 4pm to discuss the failed product. I did not receive a phone call so I called and asked for a manager. I was transferred to 7 different “managers” in the time spanning from 4:20 pm-8:47pm before I finally gave up for the day. Saturday July 20, 2024 I went the the address associated with the phone number I called 1208 w. Redondo Beach blvd. Gardena, ca 90247. The address led me to an old, abandoned, out of business RITE AID. At this point I started calling again and each time I would call no one would even greet me. They would simply put me on hold until the phone hang up.

This is not a locksmith. He. Pearly did not know what he was doing. He crushed my doorknob when he wasn’t able to get it unlocked. He installed the wrong kind of lock and severely damaged the door doing it.

He also installed a lock that didn’t fit upside down with only screw holding it together. This person had no more knowledge than I did about fixing locks.

It claims it’s located in a Jewel store near by on Southport but it’s not a locksmith it’s a kiosk.

Called this # as in need of an after hours locksmith. Set up as a need a vehicle press 1 other press 2. Connected to a person who took name address and phone number and said a contractor locksmith would contact us. Tried calling back and instead it went to this # 605-277-1192 and a guy answered and said it was the wrong number. Tried again and after going through the voice prompts for select 1 or 2 was sent to this 605 # and was told had the wrong # again. Feel like this is a fake # and website as when looking again it is the same number but listed twice with two different addresses.
