Donald called my phone twice saying he is in the claims dept at KHM & assoc. twice in 2 days. Said he wanted to talk to my husband. He said his "client" needed to verify all assets, payroll, and something else financial (cant remember) associated with his SS#. He gave me a claim # to reference when I called back. And he said that if he didnt hear from my husband by Friday (today is Wednesday) he would be sending the claim over to county court.
In all my life I've never had any collection need to verify assets, etc associated with a social...if they know the social, they can see the assets, etc. Additionally, last year we took funds out of a 401K to pay off ALL of our debt. So this didnt sound legit. I googled it and find that they have been tagged as scammers. I will not be returning their call.

They have been leaving threatening voicemails on my sons voicemails, that they have been trying to reach me, and will file (sue) against my name and SSN if i didnt call call back. Someone names RON. I called back as i got tired of my son getting the threatening calls. NO answer NO call back. SCAMS!

They stated my husband was a reference on something for his ex-wife of 30 years and she was being sued.

Received a voicemail from KHM someone named Ashley saying they were going to be serving papers within one hour and that I needed to be available with ID to sign for these documents. I called the number back 833-586-0980 said I had to leave a message and a case number and someone will call me back. I don’t recognize his name I don’t know who they are when you research and it doesn’t come up as to who they are everything I’ve read is that this is a scam.

I recently got a call from khm stating i iwed aspen dental and that i was going to be sued says they are a law firm when i called aspen they said i didnt owe anything and that my account would be with genisis i called genisis and they sold it to another debt collector not khm...looks like they wont get a dime from me total scam and they call you blocked and have you contact another number...

A woman Jessica Garcia called me and demanded I make myself available for he to serve papers in a civil law suit and told me I need State ID & a witness to this . I called the phone number 833-464-0370 and a guy answered hello and told me there looking money from a repossessed vehicle form 11 years ago .

Just got a call from KHM associates who sent me a very legitimate looking email regarding a debt that I owe and saying that people are going to be serving me papers if I don’t pay them immediately.

I found the previous report about KHMassociates on this website because I couldn’t find anything else on the company anywhere and their website doesn’t exist.

Thankfully I didn’t pay them any money but hopefully this will help someone else in the future to not be scammed by this company.

On the 23rd of December, I received a voice message from a blocked number saying that I was being served with a court summons regarding past debt. I stupidly called the 888 number and spoke with someone from “KHM Associates” and they sent me a legitimate looking bill through email. I stupidly agreed to pay money to this company before doing research. The next day, my debit card was being used in Tonawanda, NY (where this scam company is located). I then (belatedly) started doing research, and the phone number listed for KHM is always busy when trying to call, the website attached to the email address doesn’t exist, and I can’t find any record of a debt collection company named KHM.
