The scam came as a robo-call. The caller ID is Kids Kars. It claims to be a charity soliciting junk cars, etc. Judging from the internet searches, others have received calls and found them to be fraudulent. I have received this robo-call at least four other times. This time, in my rush to answer the call, over $100 of glassware was broken.
