When I called about what I would get for my car, it gave today’s price as 425$ less a 25$ service fee. Once I got there, I was told I would get considerably less because I had answered no to the question, “did the car still have the original catalytic converter” but I was not told the exact amount until I parked my car and had signed over my ownership. When I got the final slip it was only 159$. This is beyond outrageous.

When I called my Insurance agent once I got home to take off the insurance, she reported to me that there was a big news story about catalytic converters being stolen for whatever in in them that was so valuable. So this company deemed my car less valuable because it didn’t have an almost twenty year old part! It still weighs the same! It still has the same amount of old steel they are looking for.

They have scammed a Canadian senior citizen! They are thieves, total crooks! I would like reimbursement from them, especially since we are all struggling under this pandemic! They need to find their integrity.
