We are currently recruiting for the position of Remote Data Entry Clerk and
your resume was selected. You are eligible for a scheduled online interview set for today, the 4th of October 2023. The provided timeframe for this interview is outlined below.

Hello,
Hope this e-mail finds you doing well?
Your Lexington Clinic Inc. Employee Handbook is expedited to arrive next week. We have put together employment and job-related information which you need to know, and other documents that need to be filled and be provided.
Your startup check is attached to this email. The funds are for your equipment, installation, and delivery. Please, follow this instruction carefully.
You are to print the attached check on a paper
Cut out the edges of the front and back of the check
Endorse the back of the check with your signature and write " For Deposit Only "
Make a remote capture from your bank app (Mobile Check Deposit )
Once deposited, funds will be available for use immediately or the next business day.
You will then scan or take a picture of the deposit receipt as proof of deposit and send it to complete this task, after which I will forward it to the accounts department, and they will clear you to resume the second part of the task. (Cover your personal information on the deposit receipt before sending).
Let me know as soon as this is completed.

I went online on LinkedIN where the scammer targeted me and see the "senior recruiter" does work for the company as a the following:
