While searching Facebook in ME craft fairs group, I came across a fair for a Fri, Sat, Sun date, I messaged Kelly Middleton (the contact) and asked where it takes place and if I can get an application. She said they only accept local vendors and crafters, where do i live? I said North Anson and she replied with a craft show at T&B Celebration Center in Skowhegan ME. I was Feb 24-26 with a vendor fee of $45 per day.She then asked if I was interested. I said yes, and she said they had one spot left. I told her I would take it and send a check and an application. She said Friday 2-7 and Sat/Sun 11-5, I would be provided a table and 2 chairs with a 12x12 space. She then asked if I have venmo or zelle and if I was available all three days. I said I could do only 2 days and that I only had venmo. She sent me a link. https://forms.gle/.FJt7gBU1scUagkP46 to fill out the vendor form. She said the fill it out along with the vendor contract at this link, https://forms.gle/.xLStdtWXtbyfKRt89, this was a Arts & Crafts and commercial vendor contract. She said to let her know when I was finished filling out the forms and she would send details for the payment. She told me to send Venmo to @JOYCE-D-GATLIN-9 which was her treasurers Venmo in the amount of $90.00 and to send a screenshot when i was done. She said Last 4 digit: 5002 which I am not sure what that meant. I then proceeded to send Venmo but my account was denying payment. Now, i wonder if Venmo was smarter than I was..... So I told her I would try paypal, which she then gave me [email protected] to send it to. She told me to use friends and family to minimize the transition fee. I sent the money and screen shot the payment of $97.41 (w/fees) to her. I asked if I was all set, she said my spot was reserved ad will send me more details when the day was closer , then I asked when she usually sends to info, I was leary because I had been scammed before. I that she read it, but never responded. 2 days later I asked to cancel the space and collect my full refund as the application stated a full refund was available. She never replied and now I have radio silence. I contacted T&B celebration Center in Skowehgan and they DO NOT have a craft fair on that week.
