I was approached by a recruiter from Linked In originally. The message that I got was very similar to the same scam. Someone else reported. I would receive commissions. I would receive salary of $800 on day for $1200 on day 10 and if I worked for 30 days in a row, I would receive salary of $6000 but there were also commissions offered the job was to write merchant products for Klarna Inc. Which is probably a made up name, but I assumed it was associated with credit Klarna, which I am familiar with. In order to do the transactions I had to send over the equivalent of US$100 in cryptocurrency so I had to open a Wallet? account to do that. The first three or four days were fine, but then they started sending me these lucky orders where I had to send in money to get the high commissions they were offering me. This went on for days. I won’t provide all the details right now, but eventually I was scammed for a little over $6000 when I stopped this.”JOB”. Since then I have been approached by other companies with a very similar model. I think I’ve been approached four or five times by target, Hyatt hotels, and there were a few others with a very similar approach and salary and commission structure right away they hook me up with a group of people on WhatsApp who supposedly were doing the same job I was and every time I had a question about something someone would say oh that happened to me too, but once you get beyond that it will be fine and I now believe they were all part of the scam. When I became very vocal on WhatsApp about being scammed, they kicked me out of the group.
