Victory Vision Arm Rest

Motorcycle parts for sale on Facebook. Paid $200.00 for the items and $25.00 shipping from Palmdale CA to Kentucky. Money was exchanged via Zelle. Next day I get a message from seller that I needed to purchase shipping insurance per the shipping company, Gladex!
Manifest, supposedly from Gladex, shows shipper's name and address. The breakdown of shipment doesn't add up. Showing length of pieces to be 4" long, when in fact each armrest is approximately 2', yet the weight is 61 lbs.
Contacted the individual the deal was made with and he said I would have pay the additional shipping insurance before Gladex would release the product for shipment.
Gladex doesn't show any locations near the individual shipping the product.
Total scam. I'm out the $225.00.

Rare knife for sale thru www.berettahandgun.com: I chatted thru website & follow up communications were handled by these email addresses: [email protected] AND [email protected]. They promised item in stock, ship immediately with express shipping but no details given about shipping. They chose the carrier. $50 was paid at purchase for next day shipping. After payment there was no invoice but I was contacted sellers by email & texting. Every question I asked was met with a casual, non-specific answer and "don't worry" we do this all the time. Only Bitcoin & digital money was offered as pymt options; not even PayPal was offered at first. I was asked if PayPal was added would I buy the knife. Then PayPay was added. With PayPal payment, "friends" option was insisted upon - I pushed back about why. They just repeated their demand. Then, to prove their trust offered pay 1/2 now & 1/2 after they ship so I agreed. Again they insisted pay by "family/friends" only with PayPal (to avoid the PayPal fee). Several days passed w/o my communicating but there was no delivery. I contacted them. "They" had put a hold on the package because "they hadn't heard from me". Why should I need to correspond with them? Then they "talked to shipper and "cleared it up... all good to go". A shipping email was received from Gladexshipping but info looked wrong. I contacted sellers again and it was "fixed" by them "dealing" with the shipper. *This shipper was a mystery all through. While the sellers made it sound like everything was normal shipping it wasn't until after payment that shipping looked all wrong. I asked several times why wasn't item shipped with a common carrier like UPS or Fed-X... NO ANSWER. On 1/24/23 - there was no valuable info within the shipping msg and it was vague. There was a shipping number and a link (https://gladexshipping.ga), a sender name: "Jones maxwell" ; ship number: GS024873651; a consignment type & status of "discreet" and "in transit"; a mngr name: "Mr Danilo Stan". On 1/28/23 email from Gladex Shipping saying I needed to pay $300 insurance fee to get delivery because of policy and "discreet" labeling or they would NOT deliver. I contacted them saying "I already paid for express shipping - they cannot arbitrarily add insurance fees for delivery of a pocket knife. Their only response was "...will not send until insurance payment is sent..." I was in constant contact with seller (Jones Maxwell) at the emails and contact numbers above. His/their only responses... "just sent the money and you will get your knife and insurance money refunded to you..." They are Liars!

Hey. I just ordered some stuff and they used gladex. I thought it seemed kind of shady. I did lots of reading and research. Nothing on gladex on tye internet except your review. They want me to send them 200 for refundable insurance fee. Never heard of that. Is everybody who uses gladex discreet shipping to send stuff to customers a scammer?
