I was trying to purchase an item from the reputable company, Knix, from their online store at knix.com. The knix-outlet website popped up, presenting itself to be an extension of the Knix company. A couple things gave me pause, but the site looked so similar. After I placed my order, I waited almost two weeks for a notice of shipment. I checked my order confirmation e-mail, and the first time I clicked on the link to check the status of my order, it took me to a page that said they were working on getting the order ready. The second time I clicked on the link, I got a domain error page. I tried e-mailing the customer service e-mail provided, but received an error saying that it was an invalid e-mail address. It was then that I started doing a very careful examination of the website and all of the information provided there.

I was led to this outlet when attempting to purchase knix clothing. This is a scam site. No items received and all customer service emails were returned as rejected.

Thankfully, PayPal is refunding my payment.
