I send my IPhone 6s to kobixa three month ago. They never send me the money I was promise to receive. They took my phone and lied that there was a fire at warehouse in Southern California. They created another website to scram more people. Please stay away from this company.

I found Kobixa via SellCell.com. Kobixa offered to pay me $111.00 for my used Samsung Galaxy S6 in early Dec 2017. After filling out a form on their website with my contact info, they emailed me, and attached a PDF, Fist-Class, Pre-paid USPS label (with a tracking number). I packed my phone in a small shipping box, affixed the label, and mailed it off. The tracking # says it got delivered on Dec 26, 2017. At least once a week for the last 4 weeks, I've attempted to obtain a status on the check that was supposed to be mailed to me. To date, there have been no responses to my emails. The number listed goes to some sort of general voicemail service. The website recently went down. Since this is my first time using a cell-phone selling service, I documented everything. The condition of the phone, the S/N, me packaging the phone, the receipt to show the package was mailed, all email transcriptions. EVERYTHING! I've exhausted my abilities. Since I live in TX, it wouldn't be cost-effective to travel to CA to file a civil suit. I also filed a report with the FTC, but I haven't heard back from that yet.

In mid-December, another website called SellCell to look for the best price for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Unlocked that I intended on selling in return for cash through a check. Through SellCell service, I was introduced to the website/store Kobixa, which offered to pay me $189 for the condition my phone was in. The premise of their store is that they buy people's used electronic devices (e.g. tablets, smartphones, laptops), recycle them properly, and give the original phone user money in return. On 12 December 2017, I submitted my order with them and on the same day they gave me an order number and a prepaid shipping label for the package I was to send them. On 21 December 2017, I sent them my packaged phone through USPS with the prepaid package label that Kobixa had provided me me. However, I have not heard anything at all from Kobixa since. USPS tracking shows that my package was delivered to them on the 26 December 2017 to a parcel locker. I contacted them via email several times hoping to find an explanation for the lack of communication and my missing money that had been promised to me, but there still was no update from them or. I’ve spoken to another customer that had mailed their phone into Kobixa, and they also said they had a negative experience with the company and never got their promised money. In addition, I discovered multiple negative reviews of other customers who experienced having their phones "stolen" by this company, as none of these customers received the money that Kobixa had promised them.
In addition, I took a closer look at the address of the company. I was expecting to see a formal office serving as Kobixa’s headquarters, but instead found that the building of the address was an apartment complex, which to me is a red flag. From what I can infer, this company seems to be nothing more than a scam, a fraud that’s being run by an individual or group or individuals.
I had paid over $500 for my smartphone, and am disappointed that when I was offered nearly $200 for it, I ended up receiving $0 instead. For the sake of your customers, please consider reconsidering your relationship with Kobixa.

I contacted Kobixa after finding them on Google's website. I was looking to sell my old cellphone. I accessed what my phone was worth & waited for them to send me an email to print a shipping label. I received another label with an envelope in the mail, to ship my phone to their company. I awaited my check for almost a month & contacted them as to the delay. I've never received my check for $30 & have lost my old phone.
